What It Takes To Win The
Lowest Tax
The process of winning the lowest possible tax
value is not something that can be taught or accomplished
without considerable investment of time and money.
First, one has
to imagine the lowest possible value, and then derive a plan to
get to that number. By reading
and re-reading the property tax code, attending legal seminars,
learning the principles of property appraisal,
testing the waters both at CADs and in the courts, hiring the best
lawyers, and continually pushing the envelope,
the officers of Equitax have imagined and won lower and lower values
for taxpayers.
Once that range of value is imagined, one must
have the courage to promote that value, prepare and communicate
an attractive case supporting that value, withstand the scrutiny
of non-believing CADs and lawyers,
and stand firm in believing in that value. It takes time and money.
Notwithstanding
the ability to develop a defensible case for lower value, it is
critical to have the resources to support the case and the backbone
to stand up for it. It takes time and money.
With the progression
of our reputation for winning cases at all levels of appeal, our
clients have earned the resultant privilege of lower values at
earlier dates and with less expense. With that footing, we can
look at an even further horizon.
There is no other taxpayer advocacy/property
tax consultant who has traveled the road we have, and, thereby,
no one else can get down that road with the same results and at
the same pace. Equitax stands alone as the
most formidable opponent to high property taxes.
